Qualified electronic signature in contacts with ZUS
In contacts with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), a qualified electronic signature and qualified certificates may be used for the Płatnik program.
The Płatnik program enables premium payers to create, verify and send insurance documents to ZUS. The program is free.
The main functions of the Płatnik program are as follows:
- auto update
- synchronization and verification of data with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) database
- creation of application and settlement documents
- hints while filling in the documents
- import of data from HR and payroll systems
- sending insurance documents to ZUS
- automatic creation of monthly and annual information for the insured
Legal basis for the functioning of the Płatnik program
The Płatnik program meets the requirements of the Act of October 13, 1998 on the social insurance system (consolidated text – Dz. U. of 2017, item 1778 as amended),
ORDINANCE OF THE MINISTER OF FAMILY, LABOUR AND SOCIAL POLICY of 20 December 2018 on defining templates of applications to social security and health insurance, personal monthly reports and personalised corrective monthly reports, applications of the payer of premiums, settlement declarations and settlement declarations, applications for data on work in special conditions or of special character, information reports, declarations of intention to submit information reports and other documents (Dz. U. of 2018, item 2495).
The Płatnik program is safe. It has been secured against unauthorized downloading of data from the ZUS database. A secure electronic signature of the authorised user is required to synchronise the data.
